About the Role:
Wesap LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team in Bowie, MD. Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, intake, and output accurately
- Provide mobility assistance including transferring and repositioning patients to prevent pressure injuries
- Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Assist with feeding and nutritional support as directed by care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification in the state of Maryland
- Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or home health setting preferred
- Strong understanding of patient care, safety, and infection control protocols
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with physical mobility needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends or evenings
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
